You can filter records based on selected filter criteria and/or you can search for records using search strings. In this example, steps to search and filter student records are explained. You can either select anyone or all or a combination of the criteria. You can follow this procedure to filter records displayed on any page.
1. Navigate to Students > Student List on the Navigation Menu.
The Student List page is displayed.
2. Select search using the search strings for:
First Name - First name of the student
Last Name - Last name of the student
Parent Name - Name of the student’s parent
3. Click FILTER.
4. Select the filter criteria based on what you want to use to filter the orders. You can filter student records based on:
Group Name - Group name to which the student belongs
Group Type - Type of group to which the student belongs
Status - Status of the student
Note:
You can either select any one or all or a combination of the criteria.
You can search and filter records simultaneously, or you can only search, or only filter the records.
5. Click FILTER.
Note: To clear all the applied filters, click RESET.
All student records matching the selected criteria are displayed. A sample filter result for the criteria First Name - Hannah, Group Name - Pink, and Group Type - Toddlers is shown in the below screenshot:
