Navigate to Kiosk Configuration
1. Navigate to Configurations
On your left menu, you'll see a section called "Configurations". Give that a click.
2. Head to Attendance Configurations
From the options under configurations, look for "Attendance Configuration" and click on it.
3. Click on the Kiosk Option
Under attendance configuration, there's a choice labeled "Kiosk". Click on it.
How to refresh the Kiosk QR code
Let's get your Kiosk's QR code refreshing automatically. It's a great way to keep things secure. Here's how you can do it:
1. QR Code Refresh
From the Kiosk page, you'll see an option called QR Code Refresh. This is your key to setting the QR code to refresh automatically. Just click on it to activate.
NOTE: The QR code refresh rate is set to change every 5 seconds by default. You can still change the period.
2. Click SAVE
Just hit the SAVE button to lock in your changes.
A confirmation message will appear, indicating the successful activation of the QR code refresh for Kiosk mode.
How to set the refresh duration of your Kiosk's QR Code
So, you've got your QR code refreshing, but how often should it do that? Let's set a duration that works best for you:
1. Find the QR Code Refresh Rate
On the Kiosk Configuration page, look for "QR Code Refresh Rate". This is where you'll set how often the QR code refresh.
2. Choose Your Time
From the input box next to the QR Code Refresh Rate, type in the duration you prefer the QR code to refresh.
NOTE: The minimum interval is 5 minutes, and the Maximum interval is 48 hours.
3. Click SAVE
Just hit the SAVE button to lock in your changes.
A confirmation message will appear, indicating the successful activation of the QR code refresh rate for Kiosk mode.
How to allow or restrict parents, authorized personnel and/or employees to download the Kiosk QR code
Want to give the option for parents and staff to download the Kiosk's QR code? Or perhaps you'd like to turn off that feature for a while? Here's how you can easily manage that:
1. Spot and Enable the Allow QR Code Download Section
Once you're on the Kiosk Configuration page, look for a toggle labeled "Allow QR Code Download". This is where you'll control the download feature.
2. Click SAVE
Don’t forget to hit the SAVE button to lock in your changes.
A confirmation message will appear, that means parents and staff can now download the QR Code of the Kiosk mode.
