Managing Tax Class

You can manage the tax classes by performing actions such as editing and deleting tax classes using the following steps.


1.  Navigate to Finance Configuration > General Finance on the Navigation Menu.  


The General Finance page is displayed.



Here, you can view the list of tax classes that are added with their current status, tax class names in English, and tax class names in Arabic.


2.    Scroll down the page to the Tax Classes section and click the  icon in the row of a tax class, under the Actions column, to edit it.


The Edit Tax Class is displayed.



3.  Make the necessary changes to the fields and click UPDATE.  For more information on the fields, refer to Adding a Tax Class.


4.  To delete a Tax Class, click the  icon in its row under the Action column.


The Delete Tax Class dialog is displayed.



5.  Click YES.


The tax class is deleted.


Note:

  • Ensure that at least one Tax class is always active.

  • Only one tax class can be set as Default for products/ services in a nursery at a time.

  • The Standard Rate will be the Default tax class for all nurseries but the admin can change it if necessary.

  • The Default tax class must always be set to Active. An error message will be displayed if you try to deactivate the Default tax class.

  • The Default tax class cannot be deleted until another tax class is made as Default.
